Privacy Policy

The app stores locally on your device:

• Fluid intake entries (amount, drink type, date)
• App settings (daily goal, notification preferences)

Optionally, with your consent:

• Apple HealthKit data (weight, physical activity, water intake)
• Data synchronization via iCloud (across your devices)
• Camera photos for the AI Cup Scanner feature (processed via Google's Gemini API through Firebase AI — see below)

The app includes an optional AI-powered cup scanner that estimates the volume of a drinking vessel from a photo. When you use this feature:

• A photo you take is sent to Google's Gemini API (via Firebase AI) for analysis
• The photo is processed in real time and is not stored on any external server
• Google may process the image in accordance with their Privacy Policy
• The feature requires camera access, which you can revoke at any time in System Settings
• No photos are stored in the app or sent anywhere else

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Track daily fluid intake
• Calculate recommended hydration goals
• Display statistics and history
• Send local water drinking reminders
• Estimate cup volume via AI (only when you use the scanner)

We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal data to third parties.

If you enable Apple Health integration:

• We read: body weight, physical activity, water intake from other apps
• We write: your water intake to Apple Health

HealthKit data is not used for advertising or shared with third parties. HealthKit access can be revoked at any time in System Settings.

If you enable iCloud synchronization:

• Hydration data is stored in your private iCloud container
• Only you have access to this data
• Synchronization happens automatically across your Apple devices

In-app purchases are handled by the Apple App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Transaction information is stored by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.

All data is stored locally on your device or in your private iCloud container. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your data.

You can delete all data at any time:

• In the app: Settings → Clear today's data
• By deleting the app from your device
